Plastic Extrusion -
Our plastic sheet stock is Extruded In-House here at Spencer Industries in Dale, Indiana. This is unlike most Thermoformers in the industry. Our ability to extrude plastic sheet internally gives our customers the ability to expedite short lead time projects, along with production scheduling flexibility.
Extrusion Machines & Materials -
We have three coextrusion lines with high gloss and multiple texture capabilities in an unlimited variety of colors. These lines have sheet widths up to 89 " in the transverse direction, and thicknesses from 0.030" up to 0.45", with 3 layers, in 2 material structures (ie: A.B. or A.B.A. capabilities) in the following materials:
- High Impact Polystyrene (HIPS)
- Acrylonitrile Butadiene Styrene (ABS)
- High Density Polyethylene (HDPE)
- Thermoplastic Olefins (TPO)
- Sheet with the following capstocks- ASA (Acrylonitrile \ Styrene \ Acrylate Copolymer, Acrylics
- Korad, and other types of laminated Films

All the materials mentioned above can be formulated to meet the customer's specifications for flame retardants, ultra violet stabilizers, color & weatherable applications. Spencer also purchases and thermoforms Thermoplasic Urethane (TPU), Poly-Vinyl Chloride (PVC), Thermoplastic Polyester- (PETG), Polycarbonate (Lexan), filled Polypropylene (PP), and High Density Polyethylene, in natural, talc filled and any custom colors. We can also provide antimicrobial protection.
Foils on Extruded Plastic
