Job Description:

Directs daily production in the assigned cell, supervising hourly personnel. Must be knowledgeable of the machinery and equipment in the cell, and must be capable of operating such machines, including all safety precautions. Must be very familiar with the production process and must be knowledgeable of the company’s 6S and Lean Manufacturing principles.

Specific Duties

  1. Supervises thermoforming production in cells which may include machines such as rotaries, shuttles, inlines, CNC’s, stamp presses, and saws
  2. Meets production quantity goals according to schedule for the cell, and in accordance with established quality standards
  3. Closely monitors product cycle times and material scrap
  4. Detect and analyze production or quality concerns and discuss corrective action with the Shift or Assistant Shift Supervisor
  5. Reports and discusses any personnel issues or problems with the Asst. Shift Supervisor
  6. Engaged in the training and onboarding of all new team members to the area
  7. Monitor the condition of all assigned machinery and equipment and report deficiencies or needed repairs
  8. Responsible for accurate production record keeping and reporting

Job Description:

Directs daily thermoforming production on the assigned shift through the supervision of salaried and hourly personnel. Responsible for meeting production goals in accordance with established quality standards, promoting adherence to safety rules, and employing the company’s 6S and Lean Manufacturing principles. Must be knowledgeable of all assigned machinery and equipment, and must be knowledgeable of the production process. Works closely with and gives guidance to all plant employees.

Specific Duties

  1. Oversees all aspects of daily thermoforming production and personnel issues, on the assigned shift.
  2. Works with all plant personnel to meet daily production goals in accordance with established quality standards
  3. Monitors product cycle times and material yield
  4. Works with QA, Engineering, Extrusion, Production Scheduling, and Maintenance to address problems with production or equipment
  5. Communicates with the Plant Manager regarding manpower status and/or the need for overtime to meet production schedules
  6. Monitors the condition of all production machinery and equipment and makes suggestions for repairs, upgrades, or replacement
  7. Responsible for accurate production record keeping and reporting
  8. Evaluates, guides, and trains subordinate employees
  9. Reprimands, disciplines, or terminates subordinate employees in accordance with company policies

Job Description:

This position is considered a working supervisor position as this position does include working on breakdowns, assisting with machinery upgrades, and installations. Supervises the activities of hourly personnel in the daily maintenance of buildings, machinery, and equipment, on the assigned shift. Responsible for in-depth troubleshooting and the repair, maintenance, and adjustment of all industrial production machinery and processing equipment, secondary trim equipment, material handling and transfer equipment and building systems.  Must have the ability to recognize defects and possess problem-solving skills. Observes mechanical devices in operation to locate source of trouble. Repairs or replaces defective parts as necessary.  Responsible to insure proper compliance to safety and lock-out regulations, codes, and operating requirements.

Specific Duties

  1. Responsible for the quantity and quality of work performed on the assigned shift.
  2. Assist mechanics in trouble shooting machine and equipment problems.
  3. Ensure that the department has the necessary tools and equipment to complete assigned jobs.
  4. Responsible for training of subordinates, including safe work practices.
  5. Assist in plant shut down and start up situations.
  6. Make recommendations regarding manpower, or overtime work required.
  7. Must be able to read and understand blueprints, schematic diagrams, operating manuals, and manufacturer’s specifications
  8. Must have the ability to understand, troubleshoot, and install single and 3-phase electrical power, and controls circuits including 480 volt service using a digital multi-meter.
  9. Must have the ability to troubleshoot, install, and repair pneumatic and hydraulic circuits.
  10. Ability to fabricate metal using an acetylene torch and MIG welding techniques a plus.
  11. Understanding of PLC’s, troubleshooting. Program Logic, Circuits, and drives a plus.

3rd – currently would train on 2nd shift 2:30 pm – 1:00 am, to be 10:30pm – 7am 

Job Description:

Responsible for in-depth troubleshooting and the repair, maintenance, and adjustment of all industrial production machinery and processing equipment, secondary trim equipment, mold shop machines and equipment, material handling and transfer equipment and building systems.  Must have the ability to recognize defects and possess problem-solving skills.  Responsible for the fabrication and installation of new and used machinery and equipment.  Observes mechanical devices in operation to locate source of trouble.  Inspects new parts to detect imperfections and used parts to determine reason for failure and/or necessary changes in dimensional requirements.  Repairs or replaces defective parts as necessary.  Responsible to insure proper compliance to safety and lock-out regulations, codes, and operating requirements.  May direct the activities and training of Maintenance Helper Trainees, and Preventive Maintenance job classifications.  Performs other work as directed.

Job Description:

Responsible for assuring that production formed and trimmed parts are processed per the work order, Manufacturing Plan, customer blueprint and internal specifications.  Performs other work as directed by Supervision. Must complete Work Keys testing requirements.

Specific Duties

  1. Works with Supervision and production employees in order to produce quality parts.
  2. Reports problems to the Senior Quality Auditor and Supervision.
  3. Responsible for paperwork of quality functions.
  4. Responsible for start-ups and log sheet layouts during shift.
  5. Responsible for SPC functions as directed
  6. Responsible for helping employees check for part parameters (Dimensions, etc.)
  7. Responsible for checking process parameters
  8. Communicates between production line quality personnel and supervisors.
  9. Must be able to read, monitor, and understand various measures, gauges and instruments.

Job Description:

Responsible to insure that all trim and scrap is properly sorted and kept separated by color and chemical content prior to grinding and also during storage after being ground.  Insures maximum reusable yield from the scrap, which is generated from the production process through the regrind/salvage operations.  Insures correct weight in containers.  Performs other work as directed by Supervision. Must complete Work Keys testing requirements.

  1. Place plastic scrap in proper grinder, using care not to commingle material or damage machine.

Responsible for safely and efficiently setting up and lining out thermoforming machines.  Works in conjunction with a CNC Technician as part of a set up team.  Develops and streamlines new techniques for speeding up machine set ups.

Specific Duties

  1. Set up and line out forming machines to standard cycle time.
  2. Arrange secondary items in manufacturing cell per Manufacturing Plan.
  3. Complete Production Start Up paperwork properly.
  4. Train Operator Trainees on how to properly set up machines.
  5. Fill out required paperwork for set ups and daily production reporting
  6. Complete any other tasks as per Supervision.
  7. Perform standardized work per the Manufacturing Plan’s Process Methods.

JOB DESCRIPTION

Responsible for setting up and lining out CNC machines as accurately and efficiently as possible. Works in conjunction with the Forming Set Up Tech. Literacy in CNC operation and programming of five-axis and three-axis router machines is critical. Blue print reading and math skills are required. Must be able to read, monitor, and understand various measures, gauges, and instruments.

Specific Duties

  1. Responsible for setting up and lining out CNC machines
  2. Measure parts accurately and quickly.
  3. Make adjustments when needed
  4. Report problems to Set Up Manager
  5. Complete Production Startups
  6. Complete Set Up Feedback Report
  7. Completes any other work as directed by Supervision.

Job Description:

Must have mechanical ability and be able to read, monitor, and understand various measures, gauges, and instruments. Must safely set up and operate rotary thermoforming machines and route formed parts on CNC routing machines when necessary.  Must follow the Manufacturing Plan at all times.

Specific Duties

  1. Set up and operate Rotary thermoforming machines in a safe manner.
  2. Complete all necessary paperwork for set ups and production.
  3. Monitor quality of parts per Manufacturing Plan.
  4. Ensure machine is running at the standard cycle time.
  5. Make heat/timing adjustments as necessary.
  6. Safely load and unload CNC routing machines.
  7. Pack finished goods for shipment.
  8. Perform any other work as directed per Supervision.
  9. Perform standardized work per the Manufacturing Plan’s Process Methods.
  10. Record pertinent data in real time monitoring system (IQMS).
