Job Description:

Must have mechanical ability and be able to read, monitor, and understand various measures, gauges, and instruments. Must safely set up and operate rotary thermoforming machines. Must follow the Manufacturing Plan at all times.

Specific Duties

  1. Set up and operate Rotary thermoforming machines in a safe manner.
  2. Complete all necessary paperwork for set ups and production.
  3. Monitor quality of parts per Manufacturing Plan.
  4. Ensure machine is running at the standard cycle time.
  5. Make heat/timing adjustments as necessary.
  6. Pack finished goods for shipment.
  7. Perform any other work as directed per Supervision.
  8. Perform standardized work per the Manufacturing Plan’s Process Methods.
  9. Record pertinent data in real time monitoring system (IQMS).

Job Description:

This a multi-craft position that requires a working knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and PLCs (Allen Bradley preferred). The position provides preventative maintenance, routine, and emergency support to the production machinery and the facility in an industrial environment. Must have the ability to recognize defects and possess problem-solving skills. Responsibilities include, but not limited to, electrical and mechanical troubleshooting, plumbing, equipment rebuilding, and mechanical fabrication, reading electrical and mechanical prints, and setting up precision CNC machinery. Performs other work as directed.

Specific Duties

  1. Must be able to troubleshoot PLCs, program logic, circuits, and drives – Allen Bradley preferred.
  2. Must be able to read and understand blueprints, schematic diagrams, operating manuals, and manufacturer’s specifications.
  3. Must have the ability to understand, troubleshoot, and install single and 3-phase electrical power, and controls circuits including 480 volt service using a digital multi-meter.
  4. Must have the ability to troubleshoot, install, and repair pneumatic and hydraulic circuits.
  5. Ability to fabricate metal using an acetylene torch and MIG welding techniques a plus.
  6. Understanding of common plumbing practices a plus.
  7. Understanding of the Thermoforming process a plus.

An A.S. Degree in a related field, or practical experience in industrial maintenance.

Department: Tool Shop

Job Description:

Assists the Tool Shop Manager in all administrative functions of the department. Maintains records, checks patterns to print, and tracks progress of new tools and repairs to existing tools. Must be skilled in blue print reading, general machining processes, MIG/TIG welding, using precision measuring equipment, and using CAD drawing technology. Works closely with Engineering, Production, and Sales.

Specific Duties

  1. Hand sketches tool layouts for in house or vendor use
  2. Prepares tool specification sheets for vendors
  3. Assists in quoting new tools and changes to existing tools
  4. Prepares check lists for tool inspections and performs inspections of tool to print
  5. Assists in dimension checks for new tools and changes to existing tools
  6. Assists in die and fixture design 7. Maintains file of red-tag repairs
  7. Maintains documentation and written records of all tools
  8. Performs various other duties as directed by the Tool Shop Manager.
