Job Description:

Responsible for performing box audits of finished goods material located in the Quality stage area. Box audits to be performed will cover general appearance specification, box counts, correct packaging and correct trim style. The inspection will be a lot inspection but as problems are found, could turn into a 100% inspection of the problem part. Parts to be packed are clean and packed to eliminate damage during shipment. Paperwork required will be to view the Manufacturing Plan on computer and filling out a daily log sheets of the product inspected. Tools to be used vary depending on the repair needing to be completed to salvage a part: deburr tool, sanding block, buffing disc, utility knife, torch, cleaners, etc.

Specific Duties

  1. Be able to drive a utility truck to move material and load onto a truck.
  2. Be able to access a Manufacturing Plan from the computer.
  3. Inspect finish goods material. Open boxes, verify counts, product packed per the Manu. Plan, appearance acceptable per the Manu. Plan.
  4. Rework or repair damage product found during an audit. If unable to repair, save the part for Supervision to view.
  5. If issues are found where product does not meet the Manufacturing Plan, contact the Quality Supervisor.
  6. Band with plastic or metal banding, wrap product to prevent shipping damage.
  7. Repack parts as needed.
  8. Any other work as directed by Supervisor

Pay Grade:  ($18.59 – $24.18)

 

Job Description

Responsible for in-depth troubleshooting and the repair, maintenance, and adjustment of all industrial production machinery and processing equipment, secondary trim equipment, mold shop machines and equipment, material handling and transfer equipment and building systems.  Must have the ability to recognize defects and possess problem-solving skills.  Responsible for the fabrication and installation of new and used machinery and equipment.  Observes mechanical devices in operation to locate source of trouble.  Inspects new parts to detect imperfections and used parts to determine reason for failure and/or necessary changes in dimensional requirements.  Repairs or replaces defective parts as necessary.  Responsible to insure proper compliance to safety and lock-out regulations, codes, and operating requirements.  May direct the activities and training of Maintenance Helper Trainees, and Preventive Maintenance job classifications.  Performs other work as directed.

All applicants will be required to take a Maintenance Aptitude test that will check basic maintenance knowledge of the Specific Duties listed below.

 

Specific Duties

  1. Must be able to read and understand blueprints, schematic diagrams, operating manuals, and manufacturer’s specifications
  2. Must have the ability to understand, troubleshoot, and install single and 3-phase electrical power, and controls circuits including 480 volt service using a digital multi-meter.
  3. Must have the ability to troubleshoot, install, and repair pneumatic and hydraulic circuits.
  4. Ability to fabricate metal using an acetylene torch and MIG welding techniques a plus.
  5. Understanding of PLC’s, troubleshooting. Program Logic, Circuits, and drives a plus.
  6. Understanding of common plumbing practices a plus.
  7. Understanding of Thermoforming and/or Extrusion operational process a plus.

An A.S. Degree in a related field, or practical experience in industrial maintenance.  Applicants with specific maintenance experience and qualifications will be considered before internal applicants with seniority but no maintenance experience.

Department: Assembly or Thermoforming

Plant Location: Dale, IN

Will train on an 8 hour shift – 1st Shift 6:30 am – 3:00 pm CST

Job Description:

Perform a multitude of value added tasks using a wide array of tools, jigs, and fixtures per Supervision.  The plant helper will also be required to perform the second operator function inside a manufacturing cell for 2-person operations.

Specific Duties

  1. Perform standardized work per the Manufacturing Plan’s Process Methods.
  2. Safely load and unload CNC routing machines.
  3. Pack finished goods for shipment.
  4. Serve as the second operator in the manufacturing cell.
  5. Operate a scrap grinder.
  6. Perform value add assembly operations.
  7. Meet daily production goals as efficiently as possible.
  8. Record pertinent data in real time monitoring system (IQMS).
  9. Perform any other work as directed per Supervision.

Department: Extrusion

Plant Location: Dale, IN

Pay Grade: 4A ($17.22-$19.29)

Shift: C or D (6:30 pm – 6:30 am)

We will select one candidate to train on A Shift (6:30 am – 6:30 pm) and go to C or D after training is complete.

We will select another candidate that will go straight to C or D Shift and train there.

12 hour Extrusion employees will get the $1.25/hr shift premium. Employees on the off shifts also receive a $1.50/hr shift premium.

Job Description:

Must have mechanical ability and be able to read, monitor and understand various measures, gauges and instruments. Must learn to set-up and operate Extrusion Machinery in a prescribed period of time in order to progress to operator’s status. Very heavy lifting is required daily. Must be physically able to carry heavy loads up stairways and ladders. Performs other work as directed by Supervisor. Must complete Work Keys testing requirements.

Specific Duties

  1. Teardown, setup, and maintain all equipment systems (non-electrical).
  2. Operate and monitor extruders during production of plastic sheet.
  3. Perform quality checks on extruded material.
  4. Band and barcode finished skids of extruded sheet.
  5. Perform standardized work per the Manufacturing Plan’s Process Methods.
  6. Perform all necessary IQMS/Shop Data operations.
  7. Perform other tasks as directed by the lead operator or shift supervisor.

Department: Thermoforming

Plant Location: Dale, Indiana

Job Description:

Must have mechanical ability and be able to read, monitor, and understand various measures, gauges, and instruments. Must safely set up and operate rotary thermoforming machines. Must follow the Manufacturing Plan at all times.

Specific Duties

  1. Set up and operate Rotary thermoforming machines in a safe manner.
  2. Complete all necessary paperwork for set ups and production.
  3. Monitor quality of parts per Manufacturing Plan.
  4. Ensure machine is running at the standard cycle time.
  5. Make heat/timing adjustments as necessary.
  6. Pack finished goods for shipment.
  7. Perform any other work as directed per Supervision.
  8. Perform standardized work per the Manufacturing Plan’s Process Methods.
  9. Record pertinent data in real time monitoring system (IQMS).
