Job Description:

Assists the Shift Supervisor in directing production in an efficient manner in the assigned cells, employing the company’s 6S and Lean Manufacturing principles. Is responsible for all safety, quality, training, and housekeeping standards on a daily basis for the assigned shift. Supervises and directs the work of Cell Supervisors and hourly production personnel. Must be very familiar with the production process and make suggestions as to process improvements. Must be knowledgeable of the machinery and equipment in the cell, and must be capable of operating such machines.

Specific Duties

  1. Supervises thermoforming production in cells which may include machines such as rotaries, shuttles, inlines, CNC’s, stamp presses, and saws
  2. Meets production quantity goals according to schedule and in accordance with established quality standards; monitor product cycle times and material scrap
  3. Communicates with the Shift Supervisor regarding manpower status and makes recommendations for reductions or additions of personnel, or for the need of overtime to meet production schedules
  4. Observe, detect, and analyze production and quality problems and implement corrective action
  5. Reprimand, discipline, or terminate subordinate employees in accordance with company policies
  6. Monitor the condition of all assigned machinery and equipment and make suggestions for repairs, upgrades, or additions
  7. Responsible for accurate production record keeping and reporting
  8. Performs Shift Supervisor duties as required.

Job Description

Responsible for in-depth troubleshooting and the repair, maintenance, and adjustment of all industrial production machinery and processing equipment, secondary trim equipment, mold shop machines and equipment, material handling and transfer equipment and building systems.  Has special training for troubleshooting and repairing CNC Machines.  Must have the ability to recognize defects and possess problem-solving skills.  Responsible for the fabrication and installation of new and used machinery and equipment.  Observes mechanical devices in operation to locate source of trouble.  Inspects new parts to detect imperfections and used parts to determine reason for failure and/or necessary changes in dimensional requirements.  Repairs or replaces defective parts as necessary.  Responsible to insure proper compliance to safety and lock-out regulations, codes, and operating requirements.  May direct the activities and training of Maintenance Helper Trainees, and Preventive Maintenance job classifications.  Performs other work as directed.

 

Specific Duties

  1. Ability to understand and troubleshoot single and 3-phase electrical power and control circuits including 480 volt service.
  2. Must be able to read and understand blueprints, schematic diagrams, operating manuals, and manufacturer’s specifications
  3. Program and troubleshoot electronic programmable controllers, circuits, and drives.
  4. Ability to install, repair, and troubleshoot pneumatic and hydraulic circuits.
  5. Must be able to arc and acetylene weld and learn MIG and TIG welding methods.
  6. Must be familiar with thermoforming and extrusion operational processes.
  7. Must have the ability to fabricate and repair mechanical apparatuses and building structures.
  8. Must have a working knowledge of common plumbing practices.
  9. Must have a working knowledge of common refrigeration practices.
  10. Must have a working knowledge of metal fabrication practices.
  11. Must be able to repair and troubleshoot minor industrial truck and other materials handling equipment problems

  2. Must have the ability to understand, troubleshoot, and install single and 3-phase electrical power, and controls circuits including 480 volt service using a digital multi-meter.
  3. Must have the ability to troubleshoot, install, and repair pneumatic and hydraulic circuits.
  4. Ability to fabricate metal using an acetylene torch and MIG welding techniques a plus.
  5. Understanding of PLC’s, troubleshooting. Program Logic, Circuits, and drives a plus.
  6. Understanding of common plumbing practices a plus.
  7. Understanding of Thermoforming and/or Extrusion operational process a plus.

Perform a multitude of value added tasks in the Assembly Department using a wide array of tools, jigs, and fixtures per Supervision.

  2. Pack finished goods for shipment.
  3. Perform value add assembly operations.
  4. Meet daily production goals as efficiently as possible.

Job Description:

Must have mechanical ability and be able to read, monitor, and understand various measures, gauges, and instruments. Must safely set up and operate rotary thermoforming machines. Must follow the Manufacturing Plan at all times.

Specific Duties

  1. Set up and operate Rotary thermoforming machines in a safe manner.
  2. Complete all necessary paperwork for set ups and production.
  3. Monitor quality of parts per Manufacturing Plan.
  4. Ensure machine is running at the standard cycle time.
  5. Make heat/timing adjustments as necessary.
  6. Pack finished goods for shipment.
  7. Perform any other work as directed per Supervision.
  8. Perform standardized work per the Manufacturing Plan’s Process Methods.
  9. Record pertinent data in real time monitoring system (IQMS).

Pay Grade: 4A ($17.22-$19.29)

Shift: C or D (6:30 pm – 6:30 am)

We will select one candidate to train on A Shift (6:30 am – 6:30 pm) and go to C or D after training is complete.

We will select another candidate that will go straight to C or D Shift and train there.

12 hour Extrusion employees will get the $1.25/hr shift premium. Employees on the off shifts also receive a $1.50/hr shift premium.

Job Description:

Must have mechanical ability and be able to read, monitor and understand various measures, gauges and instruments. Must learn to set-up and operate Extrusion Machinery in a prescribed period of time in order to progress to operator’s status. Very heavy lifting is required daily. Must be physically able to carry heavy loads up stairways and ladders. Performs other work as directed by Supervisor. Must complete Work Keys testing requirements.

Specific Duties

  1. Teardown, setup, and maintain all equipment systems (non-electrical).
  2. Operate and monitor extruders during production of plastic sheet.
  3. Perform quality checks on extruded material.
  4. Band and barcode finished skids of extruded sheet.
  5. Perform standardized work per the Manufacturing Plan’s Process Methods.
  6. Perform all necessary IQMS/Shop Data operations.
  7. Perform other tasks as directed by the lead operator or shift supervisor.

JOB DESCRIPTION

Responsible for setting up and lining out CNC machines as accurately and efficiently as possible. Works in conjunction with the Forming Set Up Tech. Literacy in CNC operation and programming of five-axis and three-axis router machines is critical. Blue print reading and math skills are required. Must be able to read, monitor, and understand various measures, gauges, and instruments.

Specific Duties

  1. Responsible for setting up and lining out CNC machines
  2. Measure parts accurately and quickly.
  3. Make adjustments when needed
  4. Report problems to Set Up Manager
  5. Complete Production Startups
  6. Complete Set Up Feedback Report
  7. Completes any other work as directed by Supervision.
  8. Perform standardized work per the Manufacturing Plan’s Process Methods.
